I bought my 95 savage used a few months ago. It has had the white spacer removed and the mixture cap drilled out. The bike doesn't backfire, but, the sparkplug gets very carbon coated. Gas milage is about 40 miles/gallon. The previous owner must have done the mods. I'm wondering if the mixture should be adjusted a bit leaner. I never have to use the choke to start the bike.
Any ideas?
